FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. How many members are in the band? We have 7 to 10 members. Our 7 member band includes: male and female vocals, keys, drums, bass, guitar, sax, and horn. We add 2 additional singers, and a horn player or percussionist when using our 10 member band. 2. Will "The Tom and Lisa Band" learn any special songs for us if they're not already in their repertoire? We would be happy to learn a song for you. If possible, please provide a recording and sheet music, and forward to us no later than one month before your wedding. 3. What is the bands attire? Typically, for a formal event such as wedding or corporate party the band will wear black tuxedos. If requested we can also wear a simpler jacket and tie or suit. If you are hosting a theme party, the band is more than willing to accommodate the theme by dressing appropriately. 4. Does "The Tom and Lisa Band" have a contract? Yes, we use a contract for all performances. This ensures that there are no miscommunications between the band and our clients. It is for the protection of all parties concerned. 5. Is a deposit required? Yes, we ask for half down. The second
payment is due on your wedding day, before the first dance. 6. Can you hold a date open for me? 7. What is the process for booking the band? 8. Do we have to make arrangements to feed the band? 9. How long does it take you to set up? 10. What information do you need from me in advance of the reception? A. Itinerary for the reception. What time do guests arrive, what time is meal served, cake cut, etc. B. Will the entire wedding party be introduced? If so, we need the list of names in advance. C. When is the first dance, right after introductions or after the meal? What song? D. Will there be a Father/Daughter Dance? What song? E.. Will there be a Bouquet and Garter toss?
